Paradox Shop's API serves 1,800 requests per second on three Large application servers. That traffic uses 75% of the fleet's capacity. During scheduled batch windows, 500,000 image-resizing and report-generation jobs run inline and demand another 45%, saturating the API. Repair the design so the API remains responsive and the batch backlog finishes within 20 minutes.
